The Tirupati Balaji laddu is the most iconic temple prasadam in India, holding a GI (Geographical Indication) tag. Here is everything you need to know about booking, collecting, and enjoying this sacred offering.
Laddu Booking Process
- Login to the TTD website at tirupatibalaji.ap.gov.in
- Navigate to Laddu Prasadam section
- Select your collection date and quantity (max 4 per person)
- Pay Rs 50 per laddu via UPI, card, or net banking
- Download receipt - carry it to the collection counter

Collection Points
After darshan, collect your laddus at the designated Laddu Counter near the temple exit. Show your booking receipt and ID proof. For online-booked laddus, there is a separate faster counter. Without online booking, join the general counter queue.
Shelf Life and Storage
Tirupati laddus have a shelf life of approximately 15 days at room temperature. In cooler weather, they may last up to 20 days. Refrigeration can extend this to 30 days. They are best consumed fresh within the first week.
